Main findings indicate that the single weekly session reduced body fat and trimmed waistlines effectively. Cardiovascular fitness also improved with the same magnitude as the split-day regimen. This suggests that for adults carrying excess fat around the waist, a concentrated bout of brisk interval walking may be sufficient to achieve significant metabolic improvements.
