The clip implies that GHK-Cu is a proven anti-aging miracle, with visible results in days. It often cites anecdotal experiences and general references to “studies” without specifics. The tone is promotional, aiming to drive interest in the peptide for cosmetic use.
What the research neighborhood actually covers
GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper peptide that has been studied for wound healing and skin regeneration. Research, primarily in cell cultures and some small human studies, suggests it can stimulate collagen production, support antioxidant activity, and influence skin remodeling. A few clinical studies have reported improvements in skin elasticity, firmness, and photodamage with topical application. However, these studies are limited in size and duration, and the effects are modest compared to the dramatic claims in the clip. The evidence is promising but not conclusive for “reversing” aging.
Limits of the evidence
Most studies use topical formulations, not injectable GHK-Cu, which is a different route with different safety and efficacy profiles. The clip does not distinguish between these. Moreover, the research is not uniform: some studies show no significant benefit, and the optimal concentration and formulation are still under investigation.
