Social media commenters often fill the gap, asserting that “peptides are the secret” behind elite performance. This is a claim about causation: that peptide use directly enables extraordinary strength and muscle mass.

Peptides like BPC-157 (body protection compound) and TB-500 (thymosin beta-4 fragment) are studied primarily for tissue repair and anti-inflammatory effects in animal models. BPC-157 has shown promise in tendon and ligament healing in rats, but human trials are scarce. TB-500 is investigated for cardiac and wound healing, not muscle hypertrophy.
